09/14/09 - Reviews of Hard Rain Falling are starting to roll in. Keep an eye on the links section for the latest. If there's enough to warrant it, I may start a "Review" section on the site. 

09/09/09 - Hard Rain Falling is officially back in print, and the folks at NYRB Classics did a fantastic job.

02/11/09 - NYRB Classics is re-issuing Hard Rain Falling! - with an introduction by George Pelacanos.

02/03/09 - A couple items added to the "Links" section. Also, the site's frames go bye-bye at last. 

01/30/08 - Some random web sightings added to the "Links" section.

10/16/07 - I finally got around to creating a Don Carpenter Wikipedia page, although, in a perfect demonstration of why I hate wikipedia so much, some idiot keeps altering the page by adding inaccurate and poorly written text...  

10/11/07 - An excerpt from Hard Rain Falling is featured in the current issue of Murdaland - a very cool mag. Nice job, folks!

02/21/07 - Added an "Interview" section to celebrate finding the Fiction! interview from 1975. Who knows if I'll ever find any other interviews, but I thought I'd be optimistic and start a new section...

01/18/07 - It's been awhile, but some new Carpenter material has popped up on the web. A couple of book reviews added to the "Other writings" section, courtesy of the Brautigan Archives, and a few misc. sites of interest added to the "Links". Also added the above photo of Carpenter with Richard Brautigan and Curt Gentry at Enrico's (also thanks to the Brautigan Archives).

03/18/05 - Slowly adding some minor cosmetic improvements (better formatting, site meter, etc.). More to come as my html improves.  

02/16/05 - Settling into our new home at doncarpenterpage.com. Feels good so far. Adios, Yahoo. I won't be missing you...

12/05/04 - Added cover scan of From A Distant Place, as well as the hardcover scan of A Couple of Comedians, plus a couple other scans of jacket photos - all from Terry Carpenter. Thanks, Terry!

12/03/04 - Added scans of book covers and several new pics. I loaned my copy of From A Distant Place to my mother-in-law, so I won't be able to scan that one until I see her in January.

11/29/04 - New page is up!
